Needed to replace a 1984 brick built fireplace and 1990's gas fire. Chiswell Fireplaces & Stoves were recommended to us. We visited and found the staff very helpful. Glen did a site visit and identified a suitable fireplace surround and gas fire which we bought and had installed by Chiswell Fireplaces & Stoves. So had a replacement fire fitted and really happy with service and fire. This was a replacement for a fire fitted by chiswell around 14 years ago and wondered if they would still be as good and they were. I was a bit worried at first as the fire has a glass screen (old one didn’t) but the heat is much better so actually glad now that it has. I have not had to put my central heating on as much and so saving in energy costs.

We have a lovely new fire - 3rd from Chiswells over many years. Advice and end result are excellent. There is a need for a bit more high level project management. Although we had our electrician provide a power supply for fire and TV, to be mounted above the fire, the fitters didn't want to be involved in thinking through how it would be integrated behind the fireplace. Show room, estimator/design and fitters need to co-ordinate a bit better. Excluding electrics the fitters did a great job.

We love our stove that we bought through Chiswell Fireplaces. Super clear in comms and they gave us a good recommendation for getting the chimney swept before install. The two guys that came to install were efficient and left no mess. All done to high standard and we love our stove. Good value and really lovely company - would recommend.

About thirty years ago we had a marble fireplace and surround fitted by Chiswell Fireplaces which has a coal effect gas fire that recently became faulty and needed to be replaced.Having contacted them about this I was given a quote for a replacement fire pan and coal effect, which they fitted using the original grate and with no other alterations we had a working gas fire again. The work was carried out expediently with no mess and all left clean and tidy. We were very pleased with the finished job and would recommend Chiswell Fireplaces.

Ordered in Feb and installed in July. Manoj kept us updated with progress of order. Manoj and Barry did a sterling job installing the wood burner and fireplace surround, neat and clean with minimal mess. Small part was found to be incorrect size. Re-ordered and fitted within a week.

New Forest 1600 fireplace and Media wall (1st & 4th July 2022)Chiswell Fireplaces are Outstanding! We have had a house refurb done and unfortunately I have fallen victim to dodgy builders/workmen which has resulted in me needed to “pay twice” to get poor quality work put right. Unsurprisingly I was very dubious about who I chose to take on my fireplace & Media wall install and after much hunting around I chose Chiswell fireplaces…. I’m so glad I did.My fireplace was “fiddly” to say the least due to the wall protruding from the old Chimney so the measurements I provided had to be adjusted to accommodate the wall to make it work. I also had to work with Jim in the store (Top bloke) to work out how my equipment was going to fit behind the TV and also ensure the TV & Soundbar was going to fit using the bracket I had already purchased. All of this had to be done to the millimetre to make it work so naturally I was concerned. As it turns out I had nothing to worry about. Jim went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with everything checking several times before we confirmed the install date.The install was done on the 1st & 4th July 2022 and the guys that did the install were superb. They clearly knew what they were doing and the attention to detail was exceptional. At one point they had the MDF frame in place for the TV and to me it looked perfect, and I’m fussy, but they were still not happy with it so took it out and did it again. The result of all of this was perfection! Once the Job was complete my Wife and I were thrilled with the result and this is now the real centrepiece of our home.Would I recommend Chiswell, ABSOULTELY YES!Just for info: I used my own electrician for this job which was my choice, I also ran the TV cables beforehand and then decorated before fitting the TV after the install but Chiswell did everything else.Thanks Jim & the team, so so happy :-)

We visited both the amersham shop and the chiswell green shop, both were very helpful with the decision making process. The chiswell shop holds more stock to look at.We ordered a hearth, stone surround and stove and we are really happy with the end result. The installation team were fantastic, they were really clean and tidy and a pleasure to work with. I’m really pleased that we went with Chiswell Fireplaces.
